Do you sleep facing north?
 

From a young age I heard it's best to sleep in a north-south direction with your head facing north. Do you believe this bullshit and arranged your room so that you face north? I went googling for this myth and while I found many claims saying it's best to face north I also found all sorts of recommended positions, everything from east-west to south-north, it sems to depends on the culture or even wich hemisphere you're at. Does this take the tinfoil hat or is there any truth to this?

I've had my bed both directions actually....and are we talking magnetic north or geographical north?

I sleep in the bed. Start out with my feet to the north, and who knows where I will end up.

I sleep with head head towards the head of the bed and my feet towards the foot of the bed. Never paid attention to the directions in which the bed itself is pointing.

I go to bed with 5-6 pillows and usually wake up with at least 3 of them on the floor, I guess they really piss me off during the night ;)

One other good thing: never sleep with your feet pointed towards the door of your room. It is the position you would leave the room if you were dead, so not a good idea to make it any easier. :)

after reading this, i realized i do sleep with my head pointing north - but my feet are pointing toward the door, so that may sort of balance it out...

i sleep whichever direction i was facing when i told the girl to leave cuz i have an early morning meeting :winkwink:

At home I sleep with with my feet facing North, I think. Right now I sleep with my feet facing Bellagio. I know I don't sleep with my feet facing the door at least :)
