I aint got my site built fully yet and the googles gods are sending about 500 surfers a hour:Oh crap

here's my suggestion...

toss a simple index page together which includes the following

- text "Coming soon", include a date if you can
- bookmark link saying "Please bookmark and Visit again soon as the site will be live shortly"
- include a full-page ad, underneath add a 2257 link

do this, and continue building your site/page with a different file name until you are ready to go live

im serious man i switched my site over to a blog 2 days ago and all of a sudden boom! . I got about 300 links on the page leading to no were.....:disgust
