ContentLotto Problem?

Has anyone else noticed a problem with ContentLotto ?

When you just start to play a game, you see this warning or error flash on the gameboard for a split second. It's too fast for me to read.

Lose the Mac and Netscape and that should fix your problem.

I have not had any reports of this error. I know others, I think, who are using macs.

Hope you can play!

I've seen it too.....its a split second.....I can read that it says WARNING, and then a bunch of other stuff, but its too quick to read.

I think it says:

WARNING! You will never win anything from ContentLotto. You are a big smelly doody head and nobody likes you. So fuck off!

I have to agree - There is a lotto type game (go figure) that you can play on there. You pick 6 numbers from 1 to 49 - and hope to win.

That type of game is the same that the State usually runs. I'm a gambler, but I don't have to be one to know that the odds are up there with being struck by lightning. :eyecrazy

All the other games that you play on there are a scratch-off type deal - and judging from the winners list - only a handful of the players have actually won.

I am not just talking shit - Just calling it as I see it.

Turboface,

You may not be talking shit, but you sure are saying this same thing on several boards.

As far as the scratchers so, you can see some of the winners here There have been about 50 in our first 4 weeks, collecting over $6,000 in prizes. There are usually 6-7 winners every day lately.

As far as the Pick 6 game, it is true that the odds are the same as any other Pick 6 game, state sponsored or not. Getting hit by lightning is not that rare an event.

However, like state sponsored lotteries, when there is no winner, we add to the pot. If there is no winner with the next drawing (this weekend) the prize package will be bumped up to approximately a $13,000 value. You might also have heard that the state sponsored lotteries have winners all the time. I am sure you will find the same thing happens with us. It is just a matter of time.

You say you see this warning or error flash on the gameboard for a split second. Are you able to play the game anyway? or does it not allow you to play?

There is a warning after you click to start the game, it says something like it may take a some time for the ticket to load. Or something like that.

So you guys just have a very fast connection :)

Warning it may take a few mins for the ticket to load depending on your current internet connection.

Thats what I see.

All true, but ITS FREE!

I won this week :)

I'm guessing if 6-7 are winning a day then the list doesn't show all the winners.

I won Matrix content worth $300 but Iīm not in the winners list so I donīt think everybody gets listed!

Brian911 04-26-2002 10:24 AM

odds are ~13,000,000 : 1 for the lotto game.

you'd have to play dozens of YEARS to get a noticeable chance to win.. but in the end its all about pure luck of course :)

well, its free so dont complain :thumbsup

Yep, that is the warning, it never dawned on me that this was the warning he was talking about. I thought there was a problem or something.

also, we only post winners that provide a testimonial, not everyone provides one, or they say something like "cool. thanks."
"I will play more" We save the space for testimonials with a little more substance to them.

Brian911, you mean to tell me there are lotto games out there that are not pure luck to win? Say it ain't so. :Graucho

State run lotteries have the same odds, and people win them all the time.

Turboface 04-26-2002 06:37 PM

Sorry if I caused any problems - Actually, ContentLotto is a very creative idea.

:thumbsup

Thanks, we think so too, along with 1100+ others.

Rather than start another thread, I will mention that we are getting ready to add a new feature for people referring other webmasters to us.

For every refer you send us, we will give you like 250 impressions of your banner in our members area. We are still working out the details, but the more refers you send, the better the reward, or bonuses for sending the most per day, stuff like that.

Will let you know when it is set up, probably tomorrow.
