How many email viruses have you got recently?
 

I've been really lucky lately, I've had about 7 email viruses sent to me in the past few days, but I didn't open them, just deleted.

What about you?

I know, WTF is up with all the virus' in the past week or so?

I never get viruses, but lately its like 2-3 a day

Hell, you guys are lucky, I've been getting roughly 70-90 viruses per day. I don't have much of a problem with spam, just viruses.

Slick, you got some serious virus problems there. You should be the poster boy for Norton or Macaffee

Hmm, I havn't noticed any more than usual.

A tip: try not to post your actual email address anywhere on the web. Either post it like mike at domain.com or get one of those anti-virus email scripts so they can still click a link.. all those worms that send those virus emails out look for the "mailto:" field in html docs I think.

Aparently about 100-200 viruses are attempted to hit me every day. I don't see them though, since most of my email goes through 2 virus scanners before I get it. Most are from surfers, and the virus sees the mailto: and decides, hey, lets try and hit ya. It is rather amusing. :)

I got two this morning.

In fact for the last two weeks or so I have been getting 20-30 per day ... which doesn't bother me too much as none of them is Macintosh compatible :-)

10+ in the last few days

For the past week I have been avaraging about 50-70 viruses a fucking day. This is fucked up.

If im not getting at least 30 to 40 virus a day then I will feel unloved.. :feels-hot this last one though got my ass I allways have my outlook setting secure WELL I THOUGHT I DID I dont allow nothing to be open automatic well this one virus found away around it and I got 15 emails from myself HELL I even got a email i sent my ex wife a year ago hehe

I get tons of email viruses every day just as you do... It's pretty stange though, a year ago I didn't receive one single of these viruses...

Most of the email viruses/worms are coming from addresses in South-East Asia. I wonder if there is a way to block email from that region of the world. Nothing ever good has come from that region.

20-25 virus emails the last 3 or 4 hours (I left the computer on, when I came back I saw all these virus). One of them had 1.9MB, the others around 120KB .
Grrr !

About 15/day. Been going for about 1-2 weeks.

I think the amount of virus mails depends on how much traffic you have since most of those virusses check the internet history and cookies and stuff on the infected harddrive to send itself to.
The more people have your site on their infected hd the more mails you can expect.
