Design Comments...
 

This is the first page design for a new site I am involved in... the site is basically 6 top uk models inside a luxury london flat... it as live 24/7 voyeur cams, candid pics taken by the girls, pro pics, video, webcam chats...

Wondered what people thought of the initial draft of the design ??? Anything we missed ??? Thanks people for all feedback...

The only thing I don't care for is the red on the pink scheme. That's an easy fix though. Good luck.

Thanks Guys... the first thing I said to the designer when I saw it was "Take the red out !" I also aint a big fan of the gold either :( Hard task master aint I :)

try blues. The gold will look good with the rest a blue color I think

looks nice...the red does have to go though...you're right about teh gold though...it just doesnt blend well...mayeb try a lighter blue like SPeRMiNaToR said...nice though...

Right colour wise the red and gold will go... I think it will be more pink, grey, black and white...

Any other comments, I think it's lacking a little more flesh... we are going to have a flash banner where the "Reality Just Got Sexy" shower pic is, so that will rotate through several images/strapelines... We will also have a rather hot sample video... not sure at the moment they are next to each other, but I think two moving components next to each other might be a little off putting ???

Pick colors either next to or in the same trio, not in the same segment.

Not sure what that is... Pizza ? Dont really understand how it works, and if it is how I am reading it that would make soem sum yukky combinations...

I really like the pink, grey, black and white option :P oh and more boobies and ass...

I ageee that you can make some color combos that are not going to appeal to everyone. Your pink, grey, black and white motif is simply a black monochromatic scheme with pink accents. In that scheme you could use ANY accent color.

There are tons of info on the net about how to match colors even though not many people do it. I suggest that you look at some of the more successful sites and match their colors to the color wheel and you will see the pattern.

I assure you that good design is not hap-hazzard. It is done by DESIGN.

I'd say it would look better on a flat black background

i like the gold - it stands out on the page. REALTY usually has an I in it, though ;)

The initial impression to the eyes is a lot of Pink. Have you thought about maybe putting a nice photo of the front on a nice mansion at the top of the page emphsizing the name Candy Mansion? Maybe a circular driveway in front and a limo letting the girls out to go into the mansion. Maybe invite them into the Candy Mansion.

We will evertually have 4 or 5 different tours, each targeted at different niches... we wanted the first tour to be aimed at a high end magazine style, whilst at the same time still showing off all the selling points of the Candy Mansion...

We will also be doing Niches aimed at "Big Boobs" at "Webcam" at "Voyeur Cam" ect ect... I like what you suggest, it was actually some of what I had in my original ideas... but think that is for the more adult paysite design tour we will add :)

Just finished cutting the promo video... it still as to be optimised as its 5 meg... any comments ???

Limited by copyright... I am thinkign we will have 3 or 4 different promo videos and they will rotate so people see different ones anyways... Would love some 50 cent "Candy Store" in there :thumbsup
