MINE DOES THAT TOO....
i got mine when they first came out and I have been told that the first batch had many defects.. this phone is a piece of trash anyways!

MattO 03-02-2006 11:08 AM

Mine does but I don't care since I usually don't pretend like I'm talking on the phone.

Had mine for almost a year, it (and most) buzzes, that's the backlight for the screen (laptops buzz too). Almost can't hear the buzz unless you are expecting to hear it. Can't see anything to complain about with this phone, works like a charm, tough as a brick (dropped mine a few times, just a minor scratch).
If you have one of the first ones and like to tinker with it, a flash/flex upgrade can make it much better, louder and longer lasting, but unless you can backup your original firmware, you'll void your warranty so be careful there.

hova 03-02-2006 04:41 PM

mine made that sound all the time, but when I turned down the speaker volume it was over....now I got another phone, samsung D600

abadfish 03-02-2006 04:44 PM

Wow, mine does that too, a faint buzzing. I've never noticed it before. I usually do not hold the phone up to my ear unless I am actually talking on it though... lol

I haven't had any problems with my phone except a few complaints of the Moto OS but thats on all Moto phones.

nofx 03-02-2006 04:47 PM
