Webcam Questions...
 

I have two webcam questions... hope someone can help :helpme

We are going to be running webcam chats on a new site we are launching, we want to be able to capture these so we can archive them... is there a way we can capture both the picture and also the text conversation that takes place ???

Also we are not 100% happy with the cams we have in the house, these are like 24/7 reality cams, like "Big Brother" style... anyone know any good systems, spec ect ect we should be looking at/using... We are based in the UK... but would be interested to hear anything from anyone regards this :)

I've never used it personally but I have seen online tutorials done that used this software to make them..its about $300 USD but I think its what you are looking for.

Digital camcorders work well for webcam shows..alot of the quality of the image will depend on the processing power/RAM/video card of the computer its going thru as well.

Secondly the cams are not actually for webcam chat... we are doign webcam chat and I do liek the idea of using a Digi Cams for that.... however the cams we're not happy with are the livecams... we have the flat doen out in cams that show what goes on 24/7 Big Brother style...

But as I said we think these could be improved on... wondered if anyone knows anythign about this kind of stuff... seen some of the cam houses that are run in Holland and Eastern Europe and their streams look a lot slicker...
