newsgroup binarie files
 

How do i download multiple binarie files from newsgroups? Or, better yet, i'm using xnews, i select multipart messages, hit decode, save them to local folder, but do i have to combine them or something? and if so, using what?

you need some kind of advanced newsgroup client - not sure which one, try searching at www.winfiles.com

grab yourself a copy of newsbin pro. You'll have to get the newest version if the files your trying to download were encoded with yEnc. For putting the files back together you usually need winrar.

What is the extension of all the binaries you downloaded? .r01 for example?

extensions are

.001
.002
.003
etc

Have you tried WinRar?

Those look like winace extensions
