TexasDreams has a difficult job babysitting all the kids who play on this board. Sometimes he has to give people a "time out" just like you have to do when your kids get out of hand. Cursing him, calling him names and generally showing total disrespect towards him as a person and as a MOD does nothing for your cause. Can you imagine having to deal with the shit that he has to deal with?

I wanna give texas dreams a lot of thumbs up for doing a great job, any problems / complains home boy is on the case, fast responds and fast trouble solving!

Personally, I would say TD has been way TOO nice to a lot of people on this board... But that's just my opinion. He has a very difficult job to do, and babysitting GFY'ers is only a SMALL PORTION of what he has to do.. He's not god, he can't be everywhere at once, but he can try to do the very best job that he can with what he has at his disposal, and I know that's what he's doing.

Anyone who has anything to say about how he does his job should try it for a week before they open their mouths :)

Keep up the good work, TD... Like a good friend once told me about any type of management, "If you aren't pissing people off, you aren't doing your job well".

If there are issues with how TD acts as a mod, I can only imagine the uproar if I were made Queen of GFY for a day.

I'll give some love to Texas ... I'm sure trying to mod this board can be a huge responsibility. You can't please everyone and there is a good chance that you will make an enemy or two.

Best of luck and remember to never let your personal feelings get involved on this board. Its just business.

I wish they would put in the board rules: "If you are an annoying, insulting crybaby we'll ban your ass until you grow up".

That would trim the herd real quick.
And for what it's worth, both of the "high profile" bannings deserved it imo

Community moderation is HARD.
And when done right, will always rub some people the wrong way.

I think TD and all of GFY does an amazing job. It is a delicate balance of anarchy and civility. Bravo!!!
