Why do so many people take prescription drugs when they don't need to?
 

I'm thinking of stuff like xanax, and other psychiatric drugs

aren't drugs like that designed for when you really can't cope, instead of just when you want to feel better?

just wondering, since quite a few people on this board have mentioned taking/being on stuff like that...

helps them get their post counts up..

I'm honestly interested. xanax sounds like an absolute bitch to come off, so is it even worth going on in the first place?

i would avoid them at all costs, they actually make things worse for you in the long run

i've taken them and dont see what the big deal is, sleep really well but i dont know why you'd want to do them recreationally

i love vics and if i had a free supply of them, i'd be addicted to them i just know it. i took 2 within 1 week and wanted more for the next month.

now i stay away that shit (as a precaution).

Doctors seem to offer them up like candy these days. Which I guess is just as well for those of you with shares in AstraZeneca but for the rest of the population it just promotes the all too popular premise of defeatism. Drug companies would probably go out of business if the world wasn't filled with pussies, hypochondriacs and complainers.

Like any other drugs, perscription pills can be fun. Vic's are fun, perc's are fun, and occasionally, xanie bars are ok too. If there is no "symptom" to cure, it seems to just give you the "high" effect without the cure.

methadose, ultram, soma, valium,xanax,ambien,vicodin,floracet just to name a few

People take them, because the doctors hand them out like candy. And that happens, because the get paid to.
