Headless apparently "spammed" his ICQ list with an announcement. Somehow GFY was mentioned.

Headless's url/sig was banned from GFY.

Headless went on a huge temper tantrum with endless threads whining, bitching and generally crying foul.

GFY is, for now, Headless

I miss his threads about his radio show. I got used to reading them from time to time

I got the icq's too. Clicked the x on them. :uhoh I was unaware that gfy owned Icq though. lol He sent that message to gfy members, AND non gfy members. Im not gettin into this, but its silly. There are much much more bannable offenses that are left without even a word said about them.

I never got any of his ICQ's about GFY, or whatever. Just the one saying he was live....the same as every other day.

He was spamming a GFY link in there, thats what they didnt like and he did it 3 times in one day

No what "they" = Texas Dreams didn't like was that it had been awhile where he hadn't had a chance to push someone around.

So the fuck what he put GFY in the message...IT BROUGHT PEOPLE BACK TO GFY TO READ THE POST.

If you can't see how that brought more EYES = VIEWERS = BANNER IMPRESSIONS then I don't know how else to explain it to you.

Don't try to compare this to someone violationg the canned spam act and someone sending a message to his list of business contacts.

I've been a member of this board since 2001 and have repeatedly recieved in ICQ links to gfy announcing new sites, new programs, content deals, convention events, drama threads, etc..etc..etc.

I didn't even get this one...LOL...so it shows you he's not just spamming random ICQ's..if he had been compiling a list for "spamming" you'd think mine would have somehow gotten on there in the last 5 years.

Hardly, TD isn't like that and never has "pushed someone around" as far as I know of.

I'm not arguing what was right or wrong either which way, but let's not make it into something it's obviously not.

Im definitely not a Headless "fan" or a friend, but the banning is IMO pathetic, he didnt do anything really bad and should be unbanned.

There are more harmfull GFY members.

He, apparently, was banned only after he bitched about it in every thread he could, started a poll, and apparently is still at it on IRC ...

He is banned... he didn't spam ICQ. He sent a mass message to everyone on his ICQ list (people that added him) ICQ fucked up and sent multple messages... it's a known glitch.

Anyway, it was totally taken out of context. He didn't mean to piss off anyone... he was just sharing his excitement with everyone he has known or done business with over the years.

He only started 3 threads that night, because he felt he was being ignored and didn't understand what was going on. I hope he gets unbanned... it was all a misunderstanding.
