Playboy Clubs

I hear that back in the 70's maybe 80's that there were Playboy Clubs.

Has anyone been to one of these? Do they still exist? What are they like?

I used to go to the Playboy Club in Century City in LA back in the day. It was a nice play to hang and chill out after work and popular with the business crowd.

The girls were cute and friendly.

The Playboy Clubs were open from 1960 to 1991. They were world wide. The last club to close in the US was in Michigan, and the last national club to close was in the Phillipines.

Any chance of these being revived? They could open under an entirely new premise.

Can anyone explain what they were like? I understand that they weren't strip clubs, but what was the draw and appeal? Was it just a nightclub with Playboy branding?
