Weaver has the distinction of starring in Steven Spielberg's first-ever film "Duel" - regarded by some as a psychological terror masterpiece.

I still remember his McCloud tv series. He was a good actor.

That's the movie that put Weaver on the map as an actor and deservedly so; he did a phenomenal job with that role.

I met the man years back when he acted in a TV movie fimed in my house. The movie was awful but he was a nice guy.
