Do you need a passport or a normal ID like drive licence is correct?

From good old google:

Make Sure that You Have Proper Identification
You are now required to have a acceptable set of identification in order to either enter the secure areas of the airport or to enter an aircraft. Typically, a current photo identification that was issued by some level of government will be sufficient. For example, driver's licenses, state ID cards, military ID cards, and passports are acceptable, but photo identification issued by a school or private employer are not acceptable.

Are you a US citizen? It might make a difference traveling from state to state if you're not.

rockbear 02-27-2006 12:49 PM

Have you already bought tickets? Im sure on the flight from Canada to the U.S you need a passprot. Everytime i have flown interstate i have shown my passport when asked from I.D
Better be safe than sorry, bring both and ask your Airline, not GFY.

SmokeyTheBear 02-27-2006 01:20 PM

If you look muslim in any way shape or form , i would carry a passport. Or you may get deported, arrested etc.

Porn Girl 02-27-2006 01:40 PM

I am pretty sure that if you are from canada that you need your passport even if you are leaving from another city in the US. If you do not have a passport, then I would get there really early

DutchTeenCash 02-27-2006 02:32 PM

You need a passport for sure.

Just like ppl from EU goin to the US. Got my passport ready for PHX and im prepared to fill out a shitload of forms again on the plane AND a mugshot AND fingerprints AND leave suitcase open.

Loving it.
