What game(s) should I get to test
 
this new XFX Geforce 7800GT on my Pentium D 3ghz with 2gb of pc4200 DDR2? Oh, the monitor is a 19 inch Samsung 940bf LCD. I wanna see what this thing is capable of.

I know, I know.. there are better places for me to post athread like this, but fuck it haha.

that shit is hard to run...

and of course the classic benchmarcks.. (from futuremarks...3dmarks2003 and 2004 etc..)... Doom3 and Half Life 2 etc..

I'm just waiting for the ram to get here so I can put this thing together. I have everything except the ram It was on back order. Should get the ram tomorrow or tuesday.

ok, I have doom 3 and it ran not bad on my p4 3ghz w/1.2gb of ram and a geforce 4 mx440 so I guess I will test it out on the new pc when I put it together, will have to get F.E.A.R. and test it out.

Seriously... FEAR is good...not GREAT...but good!..The graphics could be better but they are just HARD to run..( I dunno if its due to bad coding, or the enigne?) still, i'm pretty sure you cant run it at fully high quality with the setup you have...my friend has a similar setup (an AMD though,which is considered by many to be better at gaming)...and he cant...

oh and FEAR is CREEPY...really creepy LOL...I ran it at medium quality on my computer and it still managed to scare the shit out of me at some points...

I like creepy games lol.. Plus, with this new turtle beach DDL soundcard it will convert everything to dolby digital 5.1/6.1/7.1 (I'll have it connected to my DenonAVR-3802 with an optical cable) so it should be fun lol
