Yeah it was Laura Mercier perfume, but It's not what I'm worried about. It smells like a cheap whore house in here now! :disgust I NEVER want to smell this perfume again....lol

StuartD 02-26-2006 04:49 PM

If EC gets turned on by it, you may want to consider doing it more often :winkwink:

Now webgurl, don't make me go pull the "did you even read the thread?" lines on you. I reserve those for gfy trolls, not for people who should know better :winkwink:

Tom_PM 02-26-2006 05:59 PM

I think MythBusters did a show on how to get rid of skunk smell, and I believe that baking soda and peroxide (? not sure) worked even better than commercially available skunk remover stuff.

I found a quote from a blog on the episode:
"The hydrogen peroxide, baking soda, and dishsoap method is the only
effective method, according to Jamie and Adam, hosts of the show. I
saw the episode, it works on people, and I found several recipes that
are safe for pets."

jade12 02-26-2006 06:25 PM

hmmm how does it smell like a cheap whore house if it was expensive perfume? LMAO sorry my girl but had to say it hehehe ;o) and yeah do what Tom said and it should help, I saw that episode too, was funny cuz they couldn't get the skunks to spray them, anybody remember how many skunks they went through before one actually sprayed? Was a few anyway LOL

Mythbusters rock ........ did you know Salsa can eat through bars in a jail cell? LOL (carry some in your pocket, if ya planning on getting in trouble when ya out hehe but I don't think the salsa at taco time counts .... hmmm ...... or maybe it's better who knows LOL

Anyway girl I hope you get the smell out and air out the house god damn that shit can make you feel nautious.

sniperwolf 02-26-2006 06:36 PM

How about some charcoal? It helps....

Trixxxia 02-26-2006 06:50 PM

:1orglaugh Oh FB, a month ago I had opened a new bottle of D&G just before going out and left it on my desk. When I got home, the friggen cat from hell who likes to practice 'passing the puck' with his front legs missed his catch and dropped it right next to my desk!!!!!!! You would NOT believe how many days of migraines with the damn window open I had to endure - NOTHING would remove the smell cuz it also seeped into the wood of the desk. :disgust & you're right, it smells like a whorehouse until it goes away - no matter how good the perfume is.

LMAO to top it off, the next day it was me, the engineer without a degree, that dropped an old ass perfume bottle that I didn't use anymore upstairs. The migraines continued :1orglaugh
