What cameras & camcorders do bangbros use?
 

I look at their content and it just looks the best I have seen what do they use I have been trying to figure it out?

Amen. Too many people think it's the camera doing the work. All a camera does is provide picture quality. It's the cameraman that understands composition, framing, timing, angle, etc.

A consumer grade miniDV has the resolution for the web in most of what I see out there. But you can't shoot good quality video with a handycam, much in part to the things that make it a great camera for the consumer; it's small (which lends itself to instability), it has auto focus, it has auto iris, etc.

And forget about what the bangbros are using; think of the future and how you will compete down the road. If I were in the market for a cam right now I would look very seriously at a sony HVR-Z1U... http://bssc.sel.sony.com/Broadcastan...HDV/home.shtml I'm currently using a Hitachi Z-one-C mated to a Sony PVV-1A, which is WAAAAYY too big for adult shootin'.

And then, find someone who knows how to shoot with it.

And then, find someone that knows encoding, editing, and compression of the final product.

I just edit on a shitty comp using Adobe Premiere and After Effects :)

dont get the z1 wait the new panny will blow it away.people forget its the shooter and the shooters eye. If you give the avg shooter a 100k varicam and steven speilberg a hi 8 camera he will come up with more of a compelling story and great framing of images then then the weak talent with a 100k camera.

You are right, their movies do look impressive, so they probably put out some serious money for the camera and to pay the guy behind it.

I just recieved some media package from avid with a trial disk in there. I've often heard about it, but I honestly don't know what I would do there that I don't do in an Adobe product. Do you find anything special or easier using it for adult?
