Whew! Am glad that has been resolved.
16 or 17 years ago I had a fling with this chick that I had known for a couple years. When we first met, we were both married, but there was an instant attraction, but we limited it to just some very intense flirting.
I had separated from my wife, and she has separated from her husband, and the years of flirtation exploded into a very fun and wild weekend. The morning after she told me she was sure she was pregnant. That set off lots of red lights and sirens and I told her it was impossible and I hit the road, never to see her again. I had heard thru the grapevine that she actually had gotten pregnant but I was not convinced that it was within the time period that would include me as the possible father, but in the back of my mind, I always wondered. Tonight I was at a mutual friend's home, and he told me that her husband died in a freak accident back in November. I asked if it was true that she had a kid, and it turned out to not only be true, but he had recent pictures of them (she has 2 now). I looked at the pic of the oldest, and was happy to see that there is no way it is mine. So I got her phone number and left a message for her to give me a call sometime. Will see if she does. hmmm, that reminds me of a fortune cookie I got not too long ago. |
interesting...your a bad dog :-)

Lucky you. That would have sucked if it were your kid. :D That's what you get for flirting heavily with other women while you were still married. ;)

So your convinced by only a picture that there is no way its yours? Sounds kinda like something the guy says on the Maury dna shows right before being told "you are the father".
|
i know kids who don't look even slightly like their parents. just because the kid doesn't look like you actually doesn't mean a thing.

No, when she woke up the next morning and said she was pregnant I was pretty sure that she was just trying to lock me into a relationship. Many months later I happened to be up at Big Bear and stopped by a coffee shop that the girl that had introduced us worked at. She was off, but her co-worker told me she was with her g/f and that she was pregnant. I knew she had gone back to her husband, but I was quickly doing the math in my head trying to figure out if it was mine or not. It was borderline. But close enough to make me think about it. |

My genes are strong, very dominant. Both of my kids are unmistakeably mine. |

People running off on their kids is definitely a pet peev of mine. |
As much as i like to rag on you, it's good to hear that you finally got that outa the back of your head. How are you sure it's not yours, does the kid look half black or somthing?

That's still not definite. You should keep that worry of "you might have another kid" in the back of your head. :)

nah, I am not like that . . . but I knew she had a huge crush on me for a long time. I knew she would be the type that would intentionally get pregnant just to keep me around though. |

I think it would be tough for me to get a girl pregnant and have it look like the mother's husband. Would be a pretty neat trick. |
You are not poor, you completely take care of our child. :winkwink:
So I think a little swab of the little ones mouth and the baddog's mouth wouldn't hurt! :Oh crap But then again the other side of my head says, let the family be. Why cause problems? Why bring it to GFY unless you actually think he or she looks like you? I know Fred looks more like me than he does you, so with that being said there could be a slight chance! :1orglaugh |

He lucked out and got your looks. |
sure hope the girl isn't desperate enough to call you after you ran off on her =\
|
Btw, what if that baby turned out to be yours, what would you do?

Now, or then? |

i never thought you had a very intruiging background. at least, you are certain that the kid is not yours.
