well i dont see any names with those , some seem a tad high , but it all depends on whats being promoted.. and how..

I just switched my sig to AWE , and in about a week i have sent a dozen or so referalls. so maybe in a month i will get 20-30 refer's total.. some programs offer a flat rate of $200 for every active webmaster you refer, so adding that up thats between $4000 - $6000 in one month.. Mind you im not charging AWE $6000 and some of those referalls might not send any traffic , but i also didnt add in the worth for "branding" just by haveing them in my sig , that adds even more value..

I have a few hundred referalls total to the people i have had in my sig over the last year, it adds up..

I would say some of those estimates are LOW, they shouldnt bother selling

Ive flown a sig in the past, but not because of the income - If you see me with a sig its because I like the program and they make me cash.

It defeats the point of why we are here, or at least why I am here. Why should I believe anything when your loyalty just goes to the highest bidder?

I havnt bothered putting one up in a while because it means I have the option to say what I like about who I like.

when my post count was at 1000 i made several thousand dollars ( prob 4+ ) in one month from my sig.. ( and that wasn't from selling it, it was from USING it , so the value is only increased when your selling it because you can add "branding" ) so the sponsor from those affiliates prob made WAY more than i did , so that 1 month would have been worth at least 5-10k to them..

p.s. when i say 1 month i mean the sig was up 1 month but it took a year for the money to add up.

well, when market u sunstable or just starting up to be open ppl dont know prices, it will even with time.. Actually, check special plans i have there. I guess some of them might be very interesting, and i'm not saying those that are $1600...

Lets face it gfy makes THEIR money by using our content ( our text etc , i.e. when we talk more visitors come and gfy gets bigger and people click the banners ) in return for that we get to advertise in a space.

Isnt that how you run your website ?? dont you promote what makes you the most money ?? if a surfer contacted you and said , hey the big banner at the top of your pages members are has smaller pics than the little bamnner at the bottoms members area so you shouldnt promote them even though they pay $50 pps as opposed to the other one that pays you $5pps

I do agree with what you are saying - but I think it goes back to my statement about why I come to GFY - I use it to take a break, talk a load of shit and sometimes I get useful info.

I just have to accept that some come here to make money and thats it. It just leaves me wondering if, when someone says something to me - nice or horrid - what is the motive....?

prices are subjects to talk, its an Offer you can go contact a person and deal it down to 1c per thread.... if he agrees, otherwise u might wanna spend your valuable time posting, instead of doing chicks and such...

Sigs are like anything else. It's how you use them.

If you have alot of visibility, and you are selling a good product, it clearly can be worthwhile.
