I really dont like spending $.

I use to think why my dad didnt give me all this $ to just spend on shit when i was young. He use to tell me, when you make your own $ - you wouldnt want to spend it on bullshit either. Now, I really dont like spending $, unless i really have to.

It good and its bad in a way. For example, its good that i save money. I will have lots of it in the future. Its bad becuase im the type that just cant goes and invest $ on shit im not sure will work out.

How about you?

pr0 02-25-2006 01:55 AM

Yea enjoy spending your old confused years with lots of $.

Whatever you do, don't spend it enjoying the best years of your life, 20-40

lol, well i will tell you why i dont like spending $. People say porn is really unpredictable. Like you can make a ton one day and they go back to making shit later. (never actually experience that myself though).

When i get into gaming, i'll be spending like crazy!! :thumbsup

i plan on doing quite a bit of paddling tomorrow! hehe

KRL 02-25-2006 02:27 AM

Same here. Frugal is my mantra.

As you get older and burnt out with the fun stuff your perspective changes and you realize the value and importance of every dollar much more.

I don't waste money on bullshit stuff like I did when I was young. Now any money beyond my basic needs and business investments goes straight to the charitible and humanitarian causes I help support.

modF 02-25-2006 02:29 AM

Nice ride. :)

I can't seem to bring myself to spend more than 25k on a car. I live in Jersey, and have been stopped at red lights and get hit. Sitting in traffic on the highway, get hit (twice in 12 months now), had my cars parked in lots, and yes got hit.

I refuse to spend money on something that other people are going to get to have the fun of bashing. I was actually sitting on the highway the other day wondering that if I got one of those turbo mini's, would people actually not hit me because it's smaller? :)

xclusive 02-25-2006 02:30 AM

congrats on the new ride morgan

modF 02-25-2006 02:31 AM

Oh and as far as money, I'm funny. I'll buy generic oreo's, and wear sneakers with holes in them, but I have to have real coca-cola as I sit in front of my 50 inch HDTV..

Of course, these sneakers are really damn comfortable. :)

Scott McD 02-25-2006 06:19 AM

I still seem to spend money, but fuck knows what on...

V_RocKs 02-25-2006 07:10 AM

Even when I made $25,000 a year I spent money in enough of a fashion that I had things to do and didn't feel boxed in at work.... Now that I make much more I don't spend extra because it is not extra anymore...

Lesson: Make more money!

Yeah. For everyday things like food and clothes I look for sales and specials. But, when going out to dinner and drinks or vacations I don't mind spending.
