People who fly allot.... help me out
Tried some searching but couldnt find solid info. Flying overseas soon, whats the scoop on laptops on airplanes? Can you use them? Are there plugins for power? Can you tell I never fly :D

laptops are ok. Power depends on the plane. Some have outlets at the seat some do not. You might try calling the airline and asking what they offer. Also, there should be outlets in the lav that you can plug into for a short time.

I've flown internationally with Virgin, British Airways, United and Air New Zealand - none of them have had laptop power sources in economy.

Somewhere on the Targus site you will find information on what planes some airlines have adapters.

as they say, NO outlets in economy, except on some of the most recent planes, also you will have to shut off the wireless capability while in flight:2 cents:
