Are Cohiba cigars really worth the price?

I smoke a couple of cigars a week but never actually tried a Cohiba. I was in a cigar shop yesterday and was thinking of buying one but the price tag was $64 and Im not sure if its worth it? I can get 3 really good cigars for that price. So, is it worth the price? will I be hooked and spend all my future earnings on Cohiba cigars if I actually try one?

smell the cigar carefully. a real cuban smeels a little like shit. distinctive smell. lots of fakes out there especially cohiba, montecristo

try a fuente opus x robusto if u can find them .... $20-$30 and very worth it

fuente hemingway also is great

yeah, I thought it was ridiculous. They had smaller Cohiba around $30, but I figured that if I would buy one it should be of decent size.

They are good, but not worth that much bro. Also, be careful, there are a lot of fake Cohibas on the market. As far as being hooked on them, nah they aren't THAT great. :2 cents:

I think that quite a few of the Honduran brands are quite similar to the Cuban's. The climate and soil is awful close, after the embargo started many producers took seeds there.

The big question, what do you like to drink with your cigars? I've been drinking Bacardi 8, as they do seem to go well together.

When I worked for rolls royce in nyc my customers who were world travelers used to tip me with Cuban cigars because they knew of my love of fine cigars. Didn't like them prefer Honduran and Dominican.

Usually I drink brandy, whiskey or just a cup of coffee. I havent tried Hondurand brands at all so I'll look that up. I mostly smoke dominican, Don Sebastian is one of my favourites.

I enjoy a Cohiba on occassion. I have never seen them for such a high price though. What was special about them?
