Has anyone got one those OQO things?

It looks great - but could I actually work on it?

Anyone tried it?

Work on it? No way... it's a toy for rich jerks :)

i dont know about working on it but its better then carrying around a laptop. I bring it to every show instead of taking a laptop.

I just wish I had the spare cash for one myself. I'll continue to be jealous of anyone owning this device until I own one myself. I'm a man, afterall.

Well Im not rich - doh

but I was thinking about it as a tool for when I go away - so it would be an investment.

Then again I am a man as well and could think of a way of justifying a F1 car converted to bed as 'but I needed it'

i have one too, its a great little tool to promo stuff on, though the weird resolution sucks as you lose half the screen on some aps and have to scroll up and down. But once wireless networks get better this machine will rock, i found at the vegas show i would have had a mobile internet connected station if the wrieless network would have been a bit better there.

So i like it, and i think its useful, but to carry out any real work on it, youd need to attach it to a regular monitor and keyboard/mouse

hope this helps.

I thought that thing was vaporware. Good to see it actually available.

I don't know if I would use it for anything other than watching movies while traveling. My laptop is small and light as hell, so it is a non issue to travel with. But it's still a bit inconvenient to watch movies on while flying. Then again, if I actually held on and played with it for a few minutes, I might walk away with it.
