Apple Hits 1 Billion Songs Downloaded
US-based Apple Computers crossed the 1 Billion song download mark at its internationally popular online iTunes music store today.
And in videos, Apple referred to iTunes as the world's most popular video download store, saying it has sold more than 15 million videos. Apple had sold more than 42 million iPods before recent retail price cuts made the MP3 music player even more affordable. In the final quarter of 2005, ending with the Christmas holiday, iPod sales averaged about 100 per minute. Nice numbers. Cha ching . . . . |

Its really impressive but 1 Billion song download are not all paid ones. Many promos are around in canada to download 10 free songs with Pepsi and Mcdonald.
But i agreee , for the global of itunes, its really impressive what they done in a short space of time. |
maybe they can use those funds to improve their computers :)
