Actually, I have a theory about this.

You know how blue is sposed to be the boy's color, and pink the girl's?

Well, think about it like this; as a male, which color are you more attracted to?

Kind of like how males are attracted to shiny things... girls wear jewelry, bright colors etc. not because they 'like' them, but because subconsciously they know it attracts the opposite sex at a base instinctive level.

I'm willing to bet that females are attracted to solid dark colors as well.

Did a quick search on this, the answer is very logical: Men are attracted to pink-peach colors. It's in the woman's genes to seduce men so all the crap about how girls like pink isn't true, they are using it to seduce males instead. However most women don't know this so they think that they are the ones who are liking this particular color but in fact it's the male species who are attracted to pink.
