Cleaning Out Blog Hard Link
 

I seem to have quite a few hard link trades at the moment so I've decided to go through and get rid of the one who havent sent me any traffic the last month...

Its nothing personal I liked all the blogs I had hard links with but if your not sending traffic then your reall not needed.

most propably because she's gonna replace them with more productive trades

i understand that getting rid of them is kind of silly - but id like traffic to my blog rather then a heap of links not doing anything...

I don't want to teach you how to run your site(s) .. but that is unfair for that guys because you trade Hard Links - Not Traffic .. You have a deal with them for Hard Link .. not for Traffic .. I can add your site on the bottom of mine,but if my site is not some crap site but is quality .. well that's really good for you .. and ofcourse for me.. and ofcourse if you know why you are doing hard link trades ..

The hard link trade is overrated and its a piece of shit the way its done
right now.

sweethotkayla you can do both if you want .. hard link and traffic trades .. just add two sections .. one for hard link and one for traffic trades ..

darksoul hard links trades are good thing .. but not just to link to anywhere and get links from anywhere .. if the hard links trades campaign are doing with niche specific sites .. or with quality sites .. it's good .. and like I said .. That's my opinion ..

Yeah, I tend to differ between traffic and link popularity tades as well. Sitewide linktrades are not the only way to do hardlink trades. You could also try to link other blogs directly from your blog entrys. That's what I'm trying to do. (if you are interested in a trade email me: blog [at] mrnicepics.com , many different niches available)

It's even better if your linktrade looks natural/is relevant

I personally give kudos to the guy. Atleast he's telling people that he's pulling their links. I know alot of people who would just remove the links and not tell the other parties.

I also don't like having too many hardlinks on my sites. Due to the recent PR updates, sites have gone up and down.

A site may have gone up to PR5 while alot of its trades may have gone down to PR3 or less. Perhaps he just wants to make room for higher rated sites.

Just my two cents.

yep...I hate trading with pages that have like 200 links on one page. It dilutes my pr and I personally don't think that google likes it either...

Khs - dont be mean, I'm not a noob just still learning! My pr went from 2 to 0 and i checked out my hard links and alot of them where 0 :(

make sure it's not just fluctuating PR due to google dancing..

I say just create a link to a source page, and list all of your non traffic providers on that page, that way if they dont see this thread, or get your contact, they have no clue, thus for they are sending you traffic with no return which is kind of unfair

sounds like a good idea! make a link farm page for the no traffic senders.
