Trillian user: I didn't get your ICQ
 

Trillian is so fucked up lately for ICQ traffic. Don't count on people receiving your messages, and you may as well assume that you're missing their messages too. The latest versions and plugins don't work for everyone. So just in case I've missed your messages, or you aren't receiving mine.. maybe an alternate source of contact is best.

I didn't get a single icq message through Trillian last week. But then I went to the icq2go web app, and even with my Trillian turned off, I still couldn't get messages.

I'm not sure whose creating the problem, but it was a very quiet week last week ;)

Ya know.. mine is deathly quiet too. I had to open a second icq number. Maybe I'll just switch back and have two icq clients? Fucking trillian.. and everyone says that I show as offline and I'm not.

I posted last week that there is an update for Trilian with the ICQ and AIM modules that must be done if you want to talk to us ICQ users.

i had this problem too. i got the new update and had to reinstall the new patch a few times before it seemed to work. I get my icq's now - but i had to re add everyone, which was a huge pain in the ass.

That's not the case. My trillian icq's started coming in again on Sunday, and while I certainly can't swear I haven't missed any messages, I've definitely been getting messages since then.

Trillian really pissed me off a while ago because of this. I dropped it and put in gaim and it works fine. No ads, either.

That update fixed my problem. I wasn't receiving any message for days until i read your post on the available update. Now, trillian works fine here. Btw, thanks baddog.

I had no problems getting AIMs at all during any of the time I couldn't seem to get the icqs.

The aim.dll manages the ICQ for Trillian too Kimmy, so grab it if you didn't and try it. Test it with me again maybe.

trillian is indeed a bit weird lately

by the way, is there a fix for msn on trillian? when people add me to their list i dont see shit, i have to add them manually before i see them.. very annoying

I've been having major issues as well. I was thinking nobody loves me anymore. :winkwink:
