The "internet porn industry" will always be slightly seperated from the real Adult Industry, as long as we are pumping out multi angle DVD porn from my backyard, the real adult industry will never suffer.

I cant tell you how many times I see the same sets of content sold on the net in magazines in all kinds of places around my house... I was beginning to wonder if people were doing it illegal, Ive seen a Matrix set in a "Deja Vu Club"mag, and etc...

Not to mention the wicked cool Eros Station hahahah

Although when I first got on with VCA Pictures in 97, there was definitely not as much online thats for sure, we had Danni.com come to OUR studios to shoot her girls and broadcast them live, back then, I can remember when she opened up her studio, hahaha funny, big competition, shes got a great mind and business sense, or whoever works with her does, *applauds Danni*... anyhow, the internet adult industry is still only one aspect of a greater being.

The porn industry will never die, now whether or not a man can make money from home running a few sites, thats a different story, but as a whole, I'd say the Adult Industry is doing better than it has ever done. How could it not be?

More and more of my friends are picking up cameras and putting ads in the LA Weekly, and starting to shoot, its dirt cheap here... anyone can do it... shit back in the days full page AVN was 1500 or so i recall, now I doubt you can touch full page for less than 3 k, total guess I have no clue...

But I know every day 1000 more girls get off on Sunset looking to make it, and thats what feeds this industry and thats where its content comes from, not the net. Along with every other big porn cities out there, we supply the net with wonderful pics...

It starts in a studio, and then its resold on the net. Just as ALL information on the net, its filtered. And its only available because someone chose it to be.

At my local video store I buy porn tapes for 3 bucks, shit ya not... they cant give away the porn in this town! Too many whores and not enough time, for 1300 bucks im sure I could shoot a 6 girl scene have the box made and have it on the shelves with a few connections hahaha - gauranteed....

Thats why this industry is hurting, its only hurting for new concepts and ideas, not content or a means to make access to new content, thats the easy part...

i don't think its people inside the industry, i think its an outside group looking to destroy the porn industry.

the same principal as a channel war on IRC. You go into a channel and pose as a member of channel "x". You talk shit about channel "y" wanting to destroy channel "z". Pretty soon you've got channel "z" going after channel "Y" and channel "y" going after channel "x".

I think the state of the buisness is fine right now.There will be those who give in and those who give out...this buisness is definitely not for the one who doesnt have time,patience,and the ability to learn as I have found out...lol.Just like any situation you will have those who jump in for what they have heard from friends,make and breaka few sites and go broke and thats it. Then there will be those who start small,work their way of the ladder,learn from others and others mistakes and continue to learn and make money. Persoanlly I feel as long as your making more than what your shelling out your doing fine. The sky really is the limit...oh yeah,make lots and lots of connections...you never know who can help you....
