So has anybody else ever received a strange phone call from GFY?
 

About two years ago when I was a GFY newb I made a simple Joke on GFY about a terrorist attack in Vegas to mess with all the people that were scared to go because Vegas was on high alert. Yea it was dumb of me but just a simple joke well so I thought. I had a guy claiming he was from the FBI call my my business line and my personal unlisted phone number about 5 minutes after I made the post. The guy said he would have people at my house in 10 minutes if I did not go back on GFY and say sorry and that it was a joke.

Im not sure it was the FBI but who the FUCK was it then. They had both numbers and my first and last name? This is when I was totally new on GFY so there is no way it could have been a prank. If it was not the FBI how the hell would someone get that info so quickly???

I still wonder about this till this day, It just seemed like some gangster shit if you ask me.

I've received plenty of strange phone calls from GFY folk, but thankfully, I've always known who I was talking to.

I once had a call from one of the newspapers here.He read that I was from Vancouver and wanted to do an interview with me.I don't know how he got ahold of my phone number either,I also have anonymous whois info so he couldn't have gotten it from there.

they would have all your affiliate info...phone number,etc.

I have had prank calls from gfy trolls at least 5 times now

one gfy troll dug up every single bit of info you could ever need on me and my wife, and posted it here, eric had to go and clear the post it was so detailed with personal info, private #'s, ss#, etc.

WAY back I used to kill some time by baiting racists in a yahoo chat room. Some of them took it WAY personally.

These fucks have called my mom, my ex, threatened to kill and/or rape my daughter. They've pretended to be Police Officers and called members of my family trying to dig up info. One of them told my mom they were a Mississippi state cop and they needed my address because I was wanted for impersonating a federal Judge. :1orglaugh I've GIVEN them my address several times, but they never show up, prolly because they know I'd shoot them.


The FUNNIEST thing I ever saw in my life was when one of them came into a chat room and claimed he was using a wireless laptop while sitting on a snowmobile in the woods behind my house. :1orglaugh :1orglaugh
