The owner of the car claims that he was the passenger. He had a blood alcohol level of .09. He says the guy who was driving was a German guy he only knew as "Dietrich" and that he ran after the accident.

Detectives noted that only the driver's side airbag had blood on it, the passenger's did not. The owner escaped this wreck with only a cut lip, that he got from the airbag...he claims, the passenger airbag. :thumbsup

Must be a real smart guy, driving very fast while being drunk.

A bit more costly than the time a friend of mine drove off of HWY 1 in his Ventura with 4 of us inside.

I bet its one of those guys that "drives better when he's drunk". Just like every gun owner is a "responsible gun owner".
