Adult Friend Finder Affiliates: Is PPC a great way to make $?

I'd like to hear from people who promoted PPC vs Revshare on Adult Friend Finder, I'm trying to figure out what will make me more money.

I hear from some people who have 50 or so free members, and none every convert. Then I hear it converts well.

.... and then I hear PPC does great as well.

Which ones make the most DINERO???????????

Anyone had success with PPC? :thumbsup

Stay away from ppc revshare all the way:thumbsup

If anyone here done tests of how well PPC vs Revshare does, would be great if you could share!!

For example, anyone ran a PPC campaign for 1 month, and 1 month of RevShare to compare?

PPC = no chargebacks. Take that into consideration.

anyone who promotes ppc sponsors is in fear of not getting paid or lives check2check... thus, if you have real legit traffic, promote revshare

I am no expert but comparing one month by month is not exactly scientific and is full of holes that could skew the results.

How about looking at people who do rev and looking at average retention rates across the board who promote it to get an idea of what type of traffic is doing what and for how long then deciding if the promoted sponsor is keeping traffic converted and returning or not.

If the average retention rate is really small but you can hammer more traffic to the site than they did then the ppc route would be your best bet, but if you think you can send traffic that will want to stay with the site better than others and their stats show you that indeed what you are sending is on average returning then your revshare is going to do it.

Just seems like someone switching between monthly campaigns back and forth, back and forth is not going to give you a true answer, look at multiple people running differant campaigns and look at their traffic source

i am a rep but i also promote aff on my sites.... revshare all the way, my 2cents. :)

I can't stress this enough: FUCK REV SHARE. I only wish my rep had told me years ago before I switched. I would have tripled if not more my income from aff.

My site has very small traffic so I prefer the PPC (see sig *cough*) and it does alright for me!

ppc fucked me out of about $200 from aff...

fallenmuffin 02-21-2006 08:34 PM

No.. always go revshare regardless.

Pornwolf 02-21-2006 08:47 PM

Revshare always. Don't forget to look at the conversion ratio scale when going PPC. It may not be worth it.

I could tell you a story about the time I went PPC on a site using Sex.com traffic... :(

For some Rev share is best for others PPC is best
