we all have connects. lets rescue her. i have talked to several people since this whole thing started. did she just make a bad decision to go to work for this company? how much did she really know about the whole "way that it works?" maybe guba got her into something that she didn't know would implode. i've heard from several people that she is a great lady, and a very hard worker. people that are against guba. i'm not convinced she knew how the whole thing really works when she signed on with them.

who has a real job for her?

I like lesbodojo and I do feel bad for her as she is their voice here on GFY.

Considering the opinion you have of Guba I think it's great that you are not putting this on lesbodojo.

Kathleen has awesome skills and i've said it before.. i'll say it again, has been a role model for me. I'm so glad i got to meet her at AFF.

Kathleen is one of the nicest/smartest people I have met in this biz.

Kathleen's smart, charming, totally delightful, and also has a very sharp wit. I'd absolutely recommend her to a prospective employer; she has my full respect and I'd love to see her in a less controversial/ stressful place. :thumbsup

i've never even once talked to her. never met her.

i can see through the smoke and i think she got into something that looked good from the outside but ended up not in her favor. there are several indicators to make me believe that.

She sounds like a dedicated woman, i´ll give you that... dunno how much did she knew about the sponsor`s stolen content on GUBA.

She's truly one of my favourite people, airek... which made today a world of fun for me.... Tell ya what.. if all else fails you and I can just adopt her and be her SugarMama and SugarDaddy.... least we could do really. :thumbsup

I met her back in 04 in vegas. She was a really cool to talk to at the party at the mixx. She also was helpful with getting longz introduced to aff . I wish her all of the best.

totally agree - thats why I am prepared to pull as many strings to get her something - I have contacted her on icq so when shes online I will be happy to offer her something tentative then find her permanent employment - she has awesome references - I just need to know what she really wants for a job so I can find something to suit her not the other way around

Why not the rep knows how they operate and chooses to work for a company thats using content thats not theirs. Why shouldnt they be held answerable no one put a gun to her head to accept the job .

Kathleen is one of my fave people in the whole wide world and I have had the pleasure of having her as a coworker and saw first hand how smart, professional and dedicated she is. She is also by far one of the nicest people I have ever met and have the pleasure of calling my friend.

Dont know what for sure? To work for a company that steals from others is fucked up and it was the persons decision to sell their soul so now they have to deal with it. Alot people dont see it because they dont create content, shooting, upgrading equiptment, going to classes costs money. Now for someone to make money off of that without permission hurts.

I have a great deal of respect for you tony404 - yet I feel that there are times that not all employee's are given privy to how the company is run and in this case - if the owners of guba have twisted the facts around in their favor they are not about to own up to anything, especially to those working for them.

Lesbodojo is not responsible for acquiring the content on the site and is working in another department unaware of these issues. It would be easy to think that everyone knew what was going on and that everyone is marked - but even when enron was brought down - the police didn't put the thousands of employee's in jail nor did the public blame them - only those who made the decisions.

Similar - Guba employee's I don't think are aware of the decisions made by their superiors and therefore we can not hold them responsible or should harass them at a time like this.

I can see your point, you work for microsoft and you dont know what another division does. You think she never played with the site, is there something else guba does that she had no idea of this? If someone chooses to take a job from a company that uses content that doesnt belong to them. Your right they cant be arrested but I can have no respect for them. This person made a choice, especially if this person knows many of you ,then its really fucked up. Thats my opinion. Like I said before I go for a job I find out they do something that could fuck over people I know I can choose to say no thanks.

agreed - it truly is a 50 / 50 shot as to how much their employee's know and don't - but one thing is for sure that we both can agree on, they do NOW.

the answer my friend will be how the employee's respond in the next few weeks to all this new information, do they trust their employers who say that we are all haters and have no legal precedence or do they believe what is written here from webmasters and sacrifice a job for integrity reasons?

I opened the door to conversation with guba employee's who feel that if they wish to find employment elsewhere I am more than willing to assist. That's all I can do for now - to be part of the solution

im not sure what her case is, but i don't believe all of us get to choose who we work for at all times. And it would be hard for me to believe that every company or even the top sponsors go by the book perfectly.

sponsor decisions affect everyone at times, surfers, affiliates, other sponsors, content providers etc

this decision to skin just happends to be totally wrong and just asking for the flame:(

In big things like this, it is the little people left to burn in the aftermath. It is a commen trend in this industry, and one of the lead reasons why I myself now operate as an independent. I can't trust any company to take care of me nor make myself vulnerable to unforeseeable ( spell check ) consequences.

Maybe Lesbodojo will get a new job where she wont be thrown into a furnace or better yet tackle the private sector herself and get some success.

I see it posted all the time here when someone hired a guy and he uses their partner accounts for his own purposes and shit. Someone take this fine woman and make her an account executive in your program...

For some reason I think TOPBUCKS would be a great place for her.

I met a lot of them at the V-bar in Vegas and they all are so dedicated and top notch that she would find a home she can grow and grow them in...

Kathleen has always impressed me with her grace, smarts, and motivation. She is wise beyond her years and as hard working as people come. I am sure she'll be a success in whatever she chooses to do.
