need some wordpress 3 column help
i have a 3 column blog, but the page loads the left and right sidebars first and then the middle content column. So when a SE spider crawls my blog it first sees all the links, and then the content as the last thing.
I checked alot of 3 column templates, checked the source code of the blogs and they all load in chronological order: First the left sidebar, then the middle content column, and then the right sidebar. When i put in index.php this: (get header) (get leftsidebar) (get content) (get rightsidebar) (get footer), the design shows the right sidebar down-right of the the the content column - the content column seems to push it down.. ive also seen that the "clear:both" thing in css is somehow a factor here. When i put the php statements in the index php file like this the DESIGN looks good: (get header) (get leftsidebar) (get rightsidebar) (get content) (get footer), but the source code of the blog first shows the 2 menus and then the content. I looked at the 3 column teplates and did >almost< exactly the same and mine is fucked up, but all those other templates are fine, i dont understand it anymore. If you have any tips reply, or hit me up @ icq 293689049 if u need more details. Or email me: webmaster [AT} hoehoehoe {DOT] net |

well, ive been tweaking my 3 column blog for the last 3 hours. And i still havent figured it out.
This is the blog theme ive downloaded: http://aydin.net/blog/2006/02/13/wor...ck-letterhead/ This is my testblog, with fairly the same css and index.php file: http://www.nico-t.com/blogtest/ Notice my whole layout is on the left, when i put the same 'text-align: center;' code in the "body" part of the layout as my centered example, but this is a small thing. The big part im trying to figure out is why the fuck the damn right column hangs below the middle one. I took the css file of my example and my own css file together and i cant find shit. I just want to keep the order of the index.php i have now (which is exactly the same order of the index.php of the working example), but it just screws the shit up like i got now... i bet its one minor fucking thing :disgust |
