Anyone register $2.99 domains at Y!?
What are your experiences with regitering $2.99 domains at Yahoo!?
|
DONT DO IT they have tons of hidden fees u wont get out with 2.99 being all said and done
|
It's perfect for idiots, so go for it!
|
That price is below cost and can't be sustained, and you may get stuck, and then you may have to move your names, a real hassle.
Use a good registrar from the start, such as www.moniker.com |
Actually you to the two fucking morons above me...it is completely legit.
(not you Daddy..the two above you) The only thing that sucked is this past december when i had to renew about 25 domain names at their $9.99 rate. Ended up dropping about 50% of my portfolio there. I got another bunch coming up for renewal for when they had their second promotion. Then the 2.99 offer was open to existing customers but when I tried to take advantage of it again they said it was closed to existing customers. |
omg you should search Yahoo and see how many people complain about them. They are a bunch of fucking monkeys. Here is just one example

Do not register adult domains through yahoo. It's against their terms of service and they will delete them when they find them. Know a few that have gotten them deleted.
|
You get what you pay for.
|
BTW if you register at Godaddy, use the coupon code "saveten" when you order for 10% off domain names! Merry Christmas.
|
stay away from yahoo!!!!
use namecheap instead! |
I tried to register a non adult domain name but something went wrong.cc was chargedback :)
btw, its not 2.99!You will pay + 3 bucks more for some membership.Dont remember exectly but something like that. So, dont use yahoo :) |
