I generally distrust anything that i see advertised on an infomercial, especially investment opportunities, real estate deals and miracle cleaning products.

I did watch about 5 minutes of a Forex software infomercial and I'm curiuos to know if it's legit and if it's a good opportunity.

Definately legit. Although some companies that offer trading are on the look out for you to lose. Key to finding a good broker is finding on that does not profit from your losses or in otherwords doesn't take an opposite position against yours. Which means they make commision on the spread and are routing for you to win and therefore make more trades which makes them more money.

Search thru there and you'll find some more information regarding forex trading. Pick a large company and try a mini account out or a game/simulation account. Forex.com FXCM.com and Oanda.com all offer game accounts and from my experience don't take the opposite side of your position.

NP. Watch your step. 200:1, 100:1, 50:1 margin can make you big winners fast... But can just as easily blow out your account.

Its really not hard to learn if you followup and study trends. There is more formula to this type of trading than there is any other.

Most Forex companies that have software platforms allow you to setup free 50,000$ trial accounts and use fake money. This is very helpful; allows you to practice and learn and not lose any of your own money.

Dan

Goto google and do a search on "forex forums" Check out the first 3 or so, you'll find lots of people who are serious about forex trading and won't try to sell you anything. I can't post the links because of GFY rules.

There was a guy promoting a forex affiliate program on GFY a few weeks ago.
I signed up for it but didn't get round to checking the trading platform or send any traffic through to their product yet but it looked like a big & legit company.

I think that Forex is quickly becoming a new big thing on the internet and that we will be seeing more and more brokers around over the next couple of years. Its the next big industry.

Any type of stock or commodity trading is not too far away from being gambling.

I saw it touted in an infomercial so I was naturally skeptical, but it did raise some interest which I think requires more due diligence than buying software from late night cable tv infomercials.

If it were, everyone would be doing it so quickly that like any other trend it would soon die.

That's a great point though, with hard work and a little bit of luck the right things can happen.
