it started yesterday....it keeps bouncing though so i don't think it will be final for another few days....

jacked 02-20-2006 09:43 PM

yup yup whoever smelled it was right and i knew something was going on a few of my sites had lost the PR all together for 2 days and since the "update" they've all returned to their normal state and or been upped i'm happy with the update overall :thumbsup

Edit... Hmmmm... Looks like it just switched back... I guess that means there may be one on the horizon, or my Toolbar is whacked.

What you are seeing is the difference between Big Daddy servers and old Google datacenters. Itll be awhile till this shakes out.

BV 02-20-2006 09:45 PM

Yep! I've been following the instructions on http://pr10.com/ and my PR is increasing every update.

With the above tips plus my new Google Priority ID number I just recently purchased things have been going well!

Ahh... very nice. So far I'm impressed. I guess their Big Daddy change may prove to actually reward blog style sites that update frequently.

darn, if it wasnt for this thread, there won't be a reason for us
to celebrate. Imagine a jump from none to big pr 5 in just barely
4 months of optimization. so far, i give credit to one of my SEO
guy who continously doing link building and not giving up

Congrats if it holds up. I've seen a few similar things - even one on a domain that was banned (PR0) when I bought it ... 0 to 4 in a few months if early predictions are correct.

And so far, no domains have dropped.
:)

beemk 02-21-2006 12:46 PM

my new site just jumped to pr6 with about 100 internal pr5 pages, i'm thinking of selling sitewide links for the right price if anyone is interested.
