Maybe if the price is the total amount of money he will make in the next 10 years - growth projections taken into account and paid cash upfront. Nobody wants more competition and if he teaches them well he will have to compete with that same person forever (or until either one retires) :)

I asked him to help me with basic metatags a few years ago. He told me, "Metatags are overrated. Just keep repeating the keyword on the title, description, the keywords and all through the alt tags and image titles."

After getting my sites banned for keyword stuffing all through 2002 I never asked him for help again. He gave me misinformation on purpose!
