The real sad part about people promoting GUBA.

Does not really matter if you think they are just thieves, loophole artists, or perfectly legitimate. There is a tremendous downside to the business model as a whole that you really should consider before settling for the fast money it offers.

As a basic business model they get their content from what others produce. You on the other hand are pushing this site upon millions of surfers per day exposing them to the option of joining just one low priced site that offers then an endless supply of content without the hassle of joining new sites for new content by any given producer. In effect you are re-summoning a TGP genie that will never be able to be put back into the bottle. The short term effects may be great but keep this all in mind latter on down the road when sales shrivel up at other sites.

Maybe by that point GUBA will have started to make and dump its own content into the "collected" newsgroups ensuring its own survival, then again maybe they just will not care when it reaches that point.

i can't believe no one from this company has come in swinging fists about all this mess. i guarantee you they are watching the board. glad its not me. i just had some of my rage content removed from the newsgroups last week. full length high quality scenes. uploaded by one of my leeching members.

GUBA has been around forever, and it hasn't caused sales to "shrivel up" at the other sites I promote. In fact, some of my best sponsors also promote their stuff heavily on the newsgroups, and thus in GUBA.

My theory is that GUBA buyers are a different category of surfer from the category that signs up for paysites. Because, in my experience, promoting GUBA does not hurt paysite signups, even when I promote both to the same traffic.

This is about the long term, and since the amount of internet users is still growing, of course the effects are hardly noticable right now. However, every person with a Guba membership is paying for content to a company that did not pay for that content.

Basically, because Guba avoids paying for content, it is unfair competition.
