I don't think its been resold since Andy sold it for $2.75 Million about a year and a half ago.

It was making $40K a month when it was sold.

Wow simply incredible what some of these domains are going for, I guess the value is in the eye of the beholder :)

if lkjlsdjf431234.com sold for $20 mil with no traffic, would there still be people saying "well that is the market, sounds reasonable" etc... or would these people finally admit that a domain was overpriced... what would it take?!?!

you have to put in for a snap (dropping domain), then you can go bid / be in the auction.

I have only used snap 2 times, but pool works good too.

Don't get frustrated, these are the same people that said "ridiculous" when thousands of premium domains where available for $100 a year :1orglaugh

Many large domain sales $50K and up are between private investors and those usually don't get any press.

I think that's great. What kind of commission does snapnames get from such sales? I remember when you could just backorder a domain from them and there wasn't any auction. If the domain became free, it was yours for a minimal fee.

The domain market is ridiculous. A good business is so much more than a good domain. Look at all of the fabulous internet companies who have branded themselves with uncommon names.
