2 Letter Domain (.com of course)

Is there such a thing like a "minimum" value of a 2letter .com domain?

Example: AB.com

Must be a rare commodity meanwhile.

Thanks for your opinions.

Tom

Yes, the minimum value for a 2 letter .com is $0.00. However, it is extremely difficult to find someone willing to sell at that price. Now keep in mind that technically, one could view $0.00 as having "no value", as opposed to "minimum value". In that case, the mimimum value for a 2 letter domain in U.S. currency would be $0.01.

New registrations of 2 letter domain names aren't allowed anymore, so they are pretty rare indeed. I believe cd.com is for sale at the moment.

If you have a 2 letter DOT com then please email me:

[email protected]

I can either buy it or broker it on your behalf. Regardless of what 2 letters you may have you are sitting on a very tidy sum of $$$ (assuming you do have one!)

Cheers

Terry

Calm down, guys.

This was just a general question. Maybe I should have stressed that when starting the thread. Just assumed that this was obvious. Sorry for that.

No, but I do have an engineering background.

I believe your intended question was more along the lines of, "Is there an industry standard sale price for 2 letter .com domains?" However, since you did not ask that question, I could not answer it.

You got that right. However, then most probably I would have ended up with replies such as: "There is no such thing like a industry standard sale price for any domain name lenght, be it 2 letters or 26. If you want to know what the market value of a 2 letter domain is, then the answer is: What ever a buyer is willing to pay." And this I could have told my self, if only I would have thought twice before posting.

I guess we should leave this thread rest in peace.

Apologies to the board, did not want to cause this confusion.
