It's OK to shoot up before the game and take a pain pill every hour during the season but smoke a joint off season and get kicked out of the league.

Shoot what up? Heroin? I doubt it. Fact is pot is ILLEGAL. You may think it should be legal, but that's not the point. It is illegal right NOW. The NFL is supposed to let someone play that is breaking the law? What does that say to kids? Anyone who thinks that smoking pot in the offseason is ok can do so as long as they understand they can't play in the NFL. It's called CHOICE. Rickey chose pot over the NFL. What is your issue?

I am pretty sure he is almost broke, which is why he came back to football last year as a last resort to pay bills. I think I read he was in debt due to allimony, child support, not working for over a year, taxes, you name it.

The thing is, Miami is going to get all that money back. The only reason he came back to the NFL is because he would now be broke if not. This is the second time in 3 years the Ricky let his team down. If I were him, I'd play a few more years, make millions, retire, then smoke it up all day everday.


First I heard that he didn't fail the test but didn't show up because he was in India during. Now the story is he did fail, but not from marijuana use.
