Who as switch to Gillette Fusion???
 

Thinking about it, still got a few blades for my other gillette but once done i am thinking of switching.

Any comments?

They spent a lot on commercials.

I fuckin seen the commercial the night of the opening of the Winter Olympics. So i went and bought a Fusion and tried it the next day. Yes it does give me a little bit of a closer shave and its prettier than the Mach 3. However that 6th blade at the top doesnt work for shit on me.

Not enough blades. Once they get up to 10 I might switch.

I think they're planning to go with 25 blades which you can scrape your face off :1orglaugh

it's awesome one of the better blades i've used if you like the mach 3 turbo i'd say it's worth the money... one of the smoothest shaves you can get

the only downside is the cost of the refills for the battery powered fusion it's $25 for a refill pack and for the regular fusion it's $10

I think I'll stick to my Mach 3...

The business model based on refills is the best ever! Printers, razors etc. Nice!

Razors are becoming like fucking Windows XP, too many updates all the time.

I'm sticking with Schick Quatro Pro v4.0, no more damn upgrades for me.

I just upgraded to Fusion from v4.0... used it once so far, I liked it.

I used it and thought it was awesome, one stroke and eveythings shaved, 2 days later my neck is all broken out and fucked up... back to version 2.0 for me, anything with more than 2 blades fucks me up :(

OK, all the advertising and marketing finally got me. I caved in and decided to buy a Gillette Fusion. Bought the manual one instead of the battery power. Also bought a can of the new HydraGel Clean & Fresh shaving gel.

The Review:

This new 5 blade design is fuckin fantastic. Most comfortable shave I've ever felt. It almost doesn't even feel like you're shaving. Its that nice and light on your face. It gives a close shave, though all razors pretty much do. But again, what's nice about the Fusion is the comfort while you shave.

The Clean & Fresh HydraGel has aloe and citrus so your face feels very clean and crisp. Very nice gel.

The Verdict:

I just tossed my old Schick Quatro in the trash can.

2 blade is still all you need, the rest don't even give a good shave, no resistance, they form to much with your face.

Yea I own one I like it alot, and I actually like the single blade on top helps get those hairs real close to the nostrals.... get it!

Did Gillette send you the check yet?

its a good razor, but the blades die faster than the mach 3 ones

I have the battery powered Fusion and its fantastic. The comfort of an electric shave with the closeness of a blade.

I just replaced my old Mach 3 with a new Mach 3. Maybe 5 blades is better but I can't see how.

I'm still on the M3 Power... Haven't tried the Fusion yet but I will as soon as I'm out of M3 blades. The Quattro gave me harsh razor burn though :(

I wouldn't use the Gilette gel and stuff though, I swear by Nivia products.

Im sold on the performance of it but its pricey. Im have such light facial hair that the mach 3 is perfect.

It does lack some precison of some other blades mind you. Im a hacker anyways. :)

i bought a battery powered fusion last week. used it once and retired it. close shave but the unit was awkward to hold (heavy, scary blade on top). maybe i'm just to used to the m3 power. fusion refills are like $8 more than m3 refills to.

It is a great razor, although pretty expensive.

Tip for guys who want to have their blades last A LOT longer. Dry them. The water on the blade is what causes it to deteriorate so fast. Either cloth dry or shoot the hair dryer on it for a minute. Will last a couple weeks more.

If you have a beard, or goatee or something, it's nice to have the one blade at the top for precision. Besides that it's just a gimmick. As far as the battery goes I took the battery out and never noticed a difference on my mach 3.

Baught it today, felt realy funky, the best thing that you can use for your balls, And my GF just loves it. Says the smoothest shave ever, I look like a prepubescent boy down there now lol
