Anyone use onecolocationservices.com ? They offer 100mbps/month at $300
They website is crappy. I don't trust companies with crappy websites.
Then again, I'm a sucker for a good deal. |
Go with your instincts and save yourself some headache. There is not a provider in the world that can profitably and actually provide 100mbps for $300. Even the larger Tier one networks that peer off their traffic to other networks (like Level3, MCI, etc) consider their cost per megabit for peering to be at least in the $5-8/mbit range.

well said ^^ |
if you don't know how bandwidth works then ask here.
Not even Yahoo could sell bandwidth that cheap, in fact not even if they used verio or cogent crap. |
maybe they mean 100mbs=50mbps up + 50 mbps down, but even then the price sounds too good to be true...
|
no way no know, thats just too good of a deal to believe
|
oh well. So how much should I expect to pay for 100mbps?
|
Considering the Chinese have 100mbs connections in their homes I could see one of them trying to resell it to suckers.
