Can a paysite with stolen images survive in 2006?

Reputable program, accepts affiliates, hosted gals etc. But the actual paysite has a bunch of "user submitted" content.

Can this survive in 2006? Aside from the theft issue will USA affiliates even touch it? (no model release, no proof of age)

Libertine 02-19-2006 03:34 PM

Yes. I know of several that do it.

jacked 02-19-2006 03:39 PM

a lot of the affiliate program's content gets stolen shit happens, most of them try and get whatever sites that are using the content shut down i mean you can't really track down every site that's using your stolen content....

and what affiliate programs do you know of that are currently handing over the model release and id of the model to the affiliate...? most of them just provide the information of the 2257 record holder for content..

THEY WILL SURVIVE lol

Dirty F 02-19-2006 03:41 PM

Yes.

....

Manowar 02-19-2006 03:41 PM

yes, for sure

rowan 02-19-2006 03:45 PM

So far in the preview area I've seen content from:

adult.com
perfectioncash
lightspeed
dormgirls
youngporn
teenagecash

If you submit an image then you get free access to the members area.

There are more of these types of models popping up. Offering this as a promotional tool in the costume of being 'helpful'. While it MAY be somewhat helpful to some, it's really a total benefit to the original site only. They get all the links, traffic, and content. A lot of them seem to 'claim' any content that is 'contributed'.

I have received a half dozen 'invites' to these kinds of things over the past 6 months or so. I normally will only need to read the small print, then delete.

Last sentence of the legal page:

"We do not believe we are infringing anyone's intellectual property rights."

That's something you'd expect to see on a paysite in 1999. :1orglaugh

SteveLightspeed 02-19-2006 04:04 PM

What site?

Pornwolf 02-19-2006 04:12 PM

I can't believe a paysite could do this! LOL

MattO 02-19-2006 04:36 PM

guba.com is an example of an operation based on stolen content

I think the term stolen is wrong as they fetch content from usenet. Even though guba is shot down the content is still there.

Theo 02-20-2006 04:46 AM

they even host it and deliver it. Term stolen is not false. The procedure is not automated, but they even review what clips appear on their system.

He is right tho...

Guba is based on using content that is not theirs...They work like: Don't like the content in our area, send us an email, and we will remove YOUR content.

It's like, hey I open a store with stolen radio's)they did not steal it themselves'. Donīt like that I sell YOUR radio, let me know, and I wonīt sell it....

Turf 02-20-2006 05:21 AM

tons of sites do that and do it well - when they get caught no biggie just change names and run again...

rowan 02-22-2006 03:11 PM

Here you go

http://www.8teenwebcams.com/photos/nudeteens/

Most looks like the typical amateur "leaked to the net" stuff but there's plenty of professionally produced content as well. Note there's 108 pages in that category and there are other categories too.

I guess this site pales in significance to guba though :)

jjjay 02-22-2006 03:15 PM

yup, if it's hosted in russia

Mutt 02-22-2006 03:21 PM

much of the content on that site has been floating around the Net for years many of those girls are underage. and here i thought CCBILL had cleaned up that part of their act.

czarina 02-22-2006 04:12 PM

yep, the answer is YES.

Brujah 02-22-2006 04:21 PM

It would be acceptable if it treated the content like galleries, with links to the program?

I'm not 100% sure but it looks like the hosted gals don't use the same content. That would be ultra stupid. :2 cents:

rowan 02-22-2006 11:15 PM

On second thoughts it does look like the user submitted stuff. I wonder if that makes the affiliates liable?

sumphatpimp 02-23-2006 09:04 AM

its the internet.
anything is legal till you get caught.
then you just cope a plea "gee I didn't know I can't do that!"
and all is forgiven.
get a new host and domain and do it again.
sad but true.
it will stay that way untill someone goes down for big prison time; 15 or 20 years.
but still, you have to find them first!
multiple servers, multiple dns and so on.
