Any tricks for keeping your zipper from falling down?

I have a pair of jeans I love, but I can't keep the zipper from falling down. Are there any tricks short of stabbing myself with a safty pin every time I pee for that?

baddog 02-19-2006 12:17 PM

there is a little lock, that if you zip all the way up, and carefully close it, will engage

Hardlinks 02-19-2006 12:18 PM

Staple gun.

I did, you idiot. A zipper falling down has nothing to do with being fat. :error

all zippers work the same, so either you don't know how or your zipper is defective

Spunky 02-19-2006 12:36 PM

A safety pin works

stickyfingerz 02-19-2006 12:45 PM

chase 02-19-2006 03:29 PM

LOL, I just ended up using a safety pin. *shrug*
Just gotta watch the bits when I fasten back up after a pee.

I was going to say safety pin.
dont poke them bits~~~!! :)

minusonebit 02-19-2006 05:02 PM

Well, you could always get a girl to put her face down there... then no one would see the open zipper and it wouldnt matter, right?

Not all :)

Some has the lock on the thing you pull on, some has it on the zipper part and some don't have a lock at all. Or you have used the zipper way too much that you have worn down the lock thing... I have a pair like that :)

Your best bet is to take your jeans to a tailor and have them replace the zipper.

sonofsam 02-19-2006 05:14 PM

invest in google stock, but you have to be wearing a wizard hat when making the transaction.

johnnyhey 02-19-2006 05:32 PM

go to a drycleaner and have them put in a new one. the price may rival a new pair of jeans though.

i only wear that type of faulty pants when i am at your moms house so i have never had to find a solution, sorry. :(

mikeyddddd 02-19-2006 05:34 PM

Don't wear pants. Especially those.

all zippers got locks and you just have to flatten it to engage... or else your zip is broken and you'll need safety pin..hehe

divinity 02-19-2006 07:08 PM

safety pin or a paper clip if you're worried about the pin aspect.

chase 02-19-2006 08:01 PM

Holy crap, a thread about my retarded zipper is STILL on the front page, lmao!

Nice to see so many people concerned about me keeping my pants on. *grin*

PixeLs 02-19-2006 08:18 PM

Tie a stretchable knot on it connected to your belt buckle.. :disgust

WME 02-19-2006 08:55 PM

use a safety pin

je_rome 02-19-2006 09:57 PM

i suggest that you look again for the zipper "lock" as mentioned by baddog. but if you really love that pants, take it to nearest tailor shop and have your zipper replaced.

pussyallnight 02-19-2006 10:29 PM

You can use a twist-tie, tie it on the hole in the top of the zipper tab and tie it around your pants' button when you zip up. Sometimes it's a pain in the ass (especially on emergencies) but it's better than zipping up every 5 minutes.
