How to play a multiaudio, XviD avi video?
 
Power DVD doesnt play any sound
neither does the divx player or windows media player

any ideas what might play the vid?

Can you post a d/l link of the vid? I can run it through our setup and tell you what you need to play it.

winamp using k lite codec pack plays anything ;)

VLC is your best bet. It plays most anything with no addidional codecs required. Works under Windows, Mac and Linux.

Just get the k lite codec pack, and almost anything will work in media player.

If you are using VLC goto audio, audio track and see if there is more than one track listed. Select each track. :winkwink:

Install K Lite Codec Pack (default config), play the file in media player, select "playback" or something like that in the top menu, select "audio and language tracks", select the one you want.

Download, install and open the video file using GSpot
http://www.headbands.com/gspot/

That should tell you the audio codec you need, example screenshot:
