Nick Lachey, the Loser, Seeks Spousal Support from Jessica Simpson

http://apnews.myway.com/article/20060218/D8FRH4H00.html

What a fucking loser. Like he doesn't make enough $$ for himself he has to try and bleed her? Go your own way with your own money, you fucking cheap hack.

And he also wants his jewelry back. :1orglaugh

LOS ANGELES (AP) - In divorce papers, Nick Lachey is seeking spousal support from Jessica Simpson, and he wants his jewelry back.

SilentKnight 02-18-2006 02:30 PM

As a guy - I'd be humiliated to seek spousal support from my wife. Especially worse if it was made public knowledge.

Yeah, I'm sexist. Sue me. :winkwink:

Cole Trickle 02-18-2006 02:31 PM

He's gay.

Spunky 02-18-2006 02:31 PM

The same will go with Britney's hubby..so predictable

pocketkangaroo 02-18-2006 02:34 PM

I just hope you also say the same about women who request millions in spousal support from their rich husbands.

Jace 02-18-2006 02:36 PM

he really doesn't make that much money, in fact I don't think he makes anything near what people think he does.....he makes enough to live extremely nicely on though

no reason to leech off your ex-wife though

PornAddict 02-18-2006 02:37 PM

What's funny is that prior to his marriage, he wanted Jessica to sign a pre-nup since he was bigger at the time. Jessica's father and also manager told her not to. Obviously, as time went on... her career blew up while his went to shit.

Just_Dave 02-18-2006 02:40 PM

what a dumb ass

That is true. She was kind of a 2nd rate pop girl behind Britney, Christina, and even Mandy Moore. Without marrying Nick Lachey, having a popular TV show with him, she'd be some girl who had a few albums awhile back.

CDSmith 02-18-2006 02:44 PM

That's what happens when you marry a boy instead of a man.

Hopefully this helps Jessica learn something for when she's ready to choose her next idiot husband.

Sly 02-18-2006 02:45 PM

If this isn't a double standard I don't know what is!

Not that I have a problem with double standards. What a pussy!

seeric 02-18-2006 02:48 PM

fuck that shit. i'd hit her for it too in that situation. women want equal rights, now you got it. deal with it is what i'd tell her.

shit. like women are the only ones that should get any of that stuff in a divorce. welcome to 2006 jessica. :1orglaugh

MotherFuckin word.

Hes just doing to her what every other fucking woman does to a man in the same situation. She made a shitload more than him...he is entitled to "live the lifestyle to which he has grown accostomed"

FlexxAeon 02-18-2006 02:51 PM

women been doing this shit for generations...bout time someone saw the opportunity to score one for our side and didn't "punk out"

fuck the money....it's about principal

spunkmaster 02-18-2006 02:52 PM

He just wants to get paid for putting up with her dumb ass on that TV show for 3 years.

MrLeone 02-18-2006 02:53 PM

I think he is a smart guy!
Who wouldnt done that same if you wife was stoned rich and left you??

LittleSassy 02-18-2006 03:02 PM

98 degrees couldn't have made him more than high 6 figures...maybe low 7 after spliting it 3 ways. The MTV show couldn't have brought in more than 6 figures for the total of 3 years.

He can't keep up that lifestyle on a measely couple of mill.

Kimo 02-18-2006 03:05 PM

people will do anything for money

Malicious Biz 02-18-2006 03:07 PM

He deserves all of her money for tolerating that ignorant hahahaha.

hahaha= cu nt

Edit #2 censoring the word "cu nt"? that's retarded.

Sly 02-18-2006 03:09 PM

Besides, Nick has basically been her bitch for the last few years, hasn't he? Taking care of the house, fixing it up, doing things for her, etc. Reverse the roles and every woman in America would be screaming alimony.

We want equal rights!

Clicky_Bucks 02-18-2006 03:26 PM

She cheated on him and then filed for divorce from him after he forgave her. I'm right with him. Stick it to that overrated bitch.

He deserves something...imagine having to put up with ridiculous questions like; "Buffalos have wings?." for 3 years lol. Seriously tho, if it were a woman and she stood by her man while he skyrocketed to fame, you better believe she'd be asking for a whole lot more than just some support.

*disclaimer, the vast majority of women*

loverboy 02-18-2006 03:29 PM

what a cheap ass loser, he needs to go back singing

:smokin

AVM 02-18-2006 03:39 PM

Good for him. About time this shit reals in favor for a guy.

Quote:

Lachey, who gained fame as a member of the boy band 98 Degrees, had more earning power when the couple wed in October 2002. However, Simpson's fame skyrocketed during the marriage. The 25-year-old singer-actress reportedly earned more than $30 million last year, including earnings from her big-screen debut playing Daisy Duke in "The Dukes of Hazzard" movie.
That sums it up perfectly. The marriage propelled their career, thus his entitlement. Besides, she married him when HE was on top.

Fuck you sheep faggots, who kiss Jessica's ass because she amazingly hot. She ain't reading this fucking forum, and even if she did, she wouldn't value your lame fucking opinions.

Go nick, take that gold digging bitch to the cleaners. :thumbsup

Phil 02-18-2006 03:40 PM

can't blame him.. shit she has so much money any way.

BSleazy 02-18-2006 03:42 PM

Women do it all the time. I think it's great he's trying to get some of that money.

2HousePlague 02-18-2006 03:44 PM

LOL -- Kelsey Grammer's wife used to beat him -- :1orglaugh

slapass 02-18-2006 03:50 PM

He needs the cash -

"Meanwhile, her dissed hubby, Nick, is moving on by purchasing the former home of superrmodel Heidi Klum and her husband Seal. The singer recently splurged on a $5.5 million cliffside home in the posh Los Angeles suburb of Bel-Air. The new bachelor pad for Nick comes complete with four bedrooms, a pool, and a recording studio and is close to the Bel-Air Country Club, where he golfs regularly."

yeah, as you illustrate, as if Nick the Dough-head needs the cash that he has to claim 'spousal support.' I agree, though, it flows the same way when some of these rich bitches sue for spousal support as well. Its not necessary in this case in which both partners are self-sufficient and well-off. Actually, they are both rich.

Nick always struck me as a miserly weiner anyways. Should we be surprised he wants even the jewelry back?

Manowar 02-18-2006 04:05 PM

He deserves it

sickkittens 02-18-2006 04:18 PM

And his life affects you how?

Pipecrew 02-18-2006 05:17 PM

That guy doesnt make shit, look at that show There and Back, the ex boy band member who had like 30 dollars in his account.

After reading this thread, I have to agree that it's a good thing for him to do.

realgangsta aka Dominik 02-18-2006 05:21 PM

hoes bitches an hoes

tical 02-18-2006 05:22 PM

fuck that he should sue that bitch and get at least half of what she earned while they got married... females do that to men all the time and she wouldn't have got to where she was today if it wasn't for him and their reality show

taibo 02-18-2006 05:25 PM

lol what a little whining bitch

Steen2 02-18-2006 05:29 PM

I don't see what's so bad here. Besides the MTV paychecks, would Nick have any money?

LexiLexxx 02-18-2006 05:38 PM

I don't really see anything wrong with it.

But secretly, I'am glad the a female was ahead, this time!

heh

baddog 02-18-2006 05:53 PM

what is the problem with that? that is why the next wife will be super rich

CDSmith 02-18-2006 05:59 PM

I think the part about him asking for the jewelry back has some people calling him a whiner. It does sound kind of petty.

But I certainly don't blame the guy for wanting the same thing many women go for (and get) in that same situation.

The jewelry part is laughable. I tried to get it declared as community property when I got divorced last time. The judge had a good laugh when I said it was an "investment."

6 figures for 3 years? The Osbournes made $20M for the 2nd season alone and Newlyweds was way more popular. They easily got 7 figures for that show.

If it hadn't been for that show, she wouldn't have made shit in the past few years. Her career was dead at that point. He should get half no quetsions asked.

RRRED 02-18-2006 06:18 PM

When I left my husband, I gave him ALL my furniture, websites, household items, everything but a bag full of my own clothes. Then he came after me for spousal support because he had chosen not to work the whole two years prior. And the icing on the cake, was that my job in which I was making really killer money was being used against me in court for 3 years for a nasty custody dispute.

I hate all blood sucking leaches like that. Basically he was doing it because his spoiled parents both of whom inherited lots of money were paying his lawyer bills. Mine was all coming out of my pocket.

The only case in which I think it's fair to receive spousal support, is if one parent had given up the chance of going to college and pursuing a career to be the home maker and raise the kids. Cuz then when the one making the money starts fucking their coworkers or whatever, the one who really sacraficed is the one that's fucked with no retirement, insurance, etc. But on the same note I think that they should be required to either get a job or enroll in school.

Quick Buck 02-18-2006 06:51 PM

In some sense I can see some justice here, she would never have become as popular as she has if it werent for her marriage to him.

I recall seeing her 2005 income posted somewhere as being around 30mil, so given that a fair share of that is a result of their marriage, their reality show then I can see some validity to it.

Anybody who's dick is so small that they think seeking spousal support is a sign of weakness has never been divorced from somebody who makes 30mil a year... it's like being handed a golden ticket... all you gotta do is ask for money and they give it to you. It's a fucked up system but I don't blame the guy for participating.

phogirl69 02-18-2006 07:06 PM

I am a female and really believe in equal rights so i don't see anything wrong with the guy asking for spousal support. If you want equal rights for men and women it has to be equal on BOTH sides, and if that includes the guy getting spousal support or the wife having to support the husband finacially that's FINE with me.

You can't be for equal rights and then expect the guy to always pay for you or support you financially. That's why I always support myself and pay my own way. Since I believe in equal rights I don't expect any guy to pay for me, it should be EXACTLY 50/50, that's only fair. You can't move ahead if you always "play the victim" and expect the guy to pay, just because he's the guy, because if you do that, then your indirectly saying that he has more power and is more dominant.

There should be NO double standards whatsoever. Whoever makes more should pay, especially if the money was made during the marriage, and I hope women make more and pay up spousal support to show the men that we don't need their money!

I think its sexist to think that women shouldnt pay spousal support. Why shouldn't we? IF we want equal rights we should pay spousal support too. It sucks, but it's only fair that way.

profligate 02-18-2006 07:15 PM

pathetic

, I bet you anything jess is still an anal virgin. He should've at least popped that before he went sniveling for alimony.:1orglaugh :1orglaugh

KRL 02-18-2006 08:43 PM

I could never see a man asking a woman for that, but his career has pretty much had its best days, and she's been the bread winner for the last couple years, so legally he should be entitled to half the assets. But, I'd be embarassed as hell if I were him because the press will run with this story like mad and make him look like a total loser now.
