Anyone Receiving Lots Of Domain Offers Lately?
 

I assume someone is making offers in bulk. Anyone else getting these emails?

I'm not, but if its what I think it is, then its a scam. They tell you they are interested in your domain only with the intention of taking your domain without payment.

SVT Electronics? or something like that?

"Eric Rowe" seems to be mailing people in bulk with offers. No idea who he is.

I've also been getting offers from random people using yahoo.com.uk, yahoo.com.au, and gmail addresses.

There's one guy doing it to test if its a valid e-mail on your reg info so he can transfer out the domain.

Another company is running a scam to entice you they have a client interested in buying your domain for a huge amount of money, but you have to pay them a fee first.

BEWARE of BOTH!!

I got one from Thona LLC at a Yahoo address. I never pay any attention to unsolicited offers. I figure if someone's really in the biz and interested, they know me and how to contact me by name :)

I got some too but I thought it was from sedo. must check futher

The pace has picked up for me too.. but I recognize most of them except for the guy who says he wants you to "get an appraisal first" lol. I figure he's pulling some appraisal service scam.

Yup just got one from Eric Rowe aswell

Eric Rowe spammed me too, along with some other fake companies from Yahoo addresses.

Bingo, I got some of those as well.

I really don't even HAVE any "good" domains which makes it even more suspicious ;)

I got a phone call yesterday from someone who sounded like they were calling from India. They were asking about a domain name I'm not using and wanted my fax number to they could fax me information about "changes to my domain name". Um, no.

Haha.. I got that one too :thumbsup

Getting way more bids on my Sedo parked domains lately too, wonder if those are trying to pull some scam too ?

Got this exact one from SVT Electronics.
