Setting a hostname to default as 127.0.0.1 in XP
 
I want my computer to not connect to a certain website, lets say its host1.webhost.com....how would i go about getting to my host file & setting it to goto 127.0.0.1 in xp

Search for a HOSTS file. I've got Windows Pro so mine is in a different location.

The path to your's should be something like c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\
