the dog is not dead at all....the porcupine quills can simple be snipped and then removed

the owner should be fined that happened because the dog is allowed to roam.

allowed to roam - how do you know it didn't happen on his own property? - What do you expect a dog to be kept in a cage - they aren't hamsters man.

Reminds me of the time I fell in a cactus. Of course I was in a drunken stupor, so it didn't hurt till the next day.

Thats nothing new. Baring infection the dogs usualy recover just fine (allbeit with a lot of pain).

One of my German Shepherds was always doing stupid shit like this.

Once he had a Scorpion in his mouth he was chewing on. Scorpion got a sting in and he was frothing but he made it ok.

Then he chewed the head off a Rattlesnake. Nothing happened to him, but the snake was a goner.

But the worst he chased a Skunk. Skunk got away but my dog got scent bombed up close and smelled like shit for days. I washed him over and over and couldn't get rid of the stink. Finally I found out you have to wash them with tomato juice to counteract the stink and that did the trick.
